Dallion Richards

Manager - 501 CrossFit

Dallion has been involved in physical activities since a young age, playing nearly every team sport available in his hometown of Houston, Texas.  Although he did not start regimented weight or conditioning training until joining the Air Force and moving to Arkansas, it has quickly become his passion and he seeks every opportunity to increase his knowledge of physical fitness and nutrition.  At the forefront of Dallion’s mind is the desire to make an impact on someone’s life everyday, using CrossFit to help everyone around him reach their health and fitness goals. His hobbies include any and all outdoor activities, eating, and thinking about what tomorrow’s workout will be.  Dallion has been doing CrossFit since 2012 and coaching since 2013.  He is currently a Loadmaster on the C-130J at the 29th Weapons Squadron on Little Rock AFB and is working towards a B.S. in Exercise Science.

Cassie Richards

Cassie spent most of her childhood being active.  She played softball, danced at a studio for seven years, and was a member of her high school’s dance team for 2 years.  When introduced to CrossFit, she was immediately addicted.  The high intensity and constantly varied workouts kept her striving to reach her fitness goals.  Being new to CrossFit, she knew how challenging and intimidating it could be and embraced it. Since becoming a coach, her main goal is to make new athletes feel comfortable while learning to become the best they can be.

Rusty Wilson

Rusty has loved sports and exercise his whole life.  He played football, baseball and basketball as a kid, and still enjoys anything involving competition.  Rusty found CrossFit in 2013 and immediately fell in love with it.  What he enjoys most about CrossFit is the community aspect (the 501 community is unlike anything else out there).  He has Bachelors degrees in both Accounting and Kinesiology and has been at 501 since early 2015.  Rusty works for Leiva's Coffee in North Little Rock and spends most of his free time at the gym or hanging out with his wife Ashley and two children, Eli and Gabrielle.  He also loves playing sports and watching the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Jonathan Bartholmey

Jonathan began CrossFit in 2013 with some friends, working out in dirty garages and back yards. He joined 501 CrossFit in 2015 after experiencing the air conditioning and nice equipment! Always having a desire to coach, Jonathan obtained his CrossFit L-1 in August, 2016, and has been coaching since. He loves that Crossfit is accessible to people of all abilities, and that it provides an excellent platform to set personal goals and achieve them.  You can usually find Jonathan at the 5:15 a.m. class either working out or coaching. Outside of the gym, Jonathan enjoys being active, but mostly just spending time with his wife Shelley and their three kids, Layla, Jackson, and Olivia.

Charlie.jpg

Charlie Rogers

Charlie is from Norman, Oklahoma and loves playing sports, specifically baseball, football, and basketball.  He played 1 year of college football and lettered 3 years in college baseball.  After Charlie graduated with his Bachelors in Kinesiology in 2004, he was awarded a Graduate Assistant scholarship at the University of Oklahoma in the Health and Exercise Science Department from which he graduated with a Masters in Exercise Physiology in 2006. That same year Charlie was hired by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for their Minor League Affiliate Orem Owlz, where they won the Pioneer League Championship.  After that Charlie moved to Little Rock, Arkansas where he married the former Sarah Clary and had two wonderful children, Lincoln and Clary Pearl.

Charlie has been a government contractor for the past 10 years and during that time his activity level dropped enormously, his nutrition suffered, and he gained a lot of weight; topping out at 268lbs.  After his mother passed away in December 2014 from complications of an unhealthy lifestyle and Type II diabetes, Charlie knew that he had to make a change.  With the help of his wife, he decided to make a lifestyle change for the entire family that involved eating healthier and exercising more; the weight slowly began to disappear. In March of 2015, Charlie found a YouTube video talking about a workout called Fran in this sport called CrossFit.  It looked so crazy and hard that he had to give it a try and after one class he was hooked. By July, the weight was dropping off and Charlie had lost over 50lbs, drastically changing his life.  Within the year he earned his CrossFit Level 1 and began coaching at 501 CrossFit. Today, Charlie loves CrossFit more than ever; most importantly the people at 501 CrossFit and the relationships that have grown from it.

Nick Kelly

Before he found CrossFit in 2012, Nick was an avid runner and triathlete.  He loved pushing himself to race a little faster and a little longer.  Originally starting CrossFit to become a better triathlete, Nick was quickly hooked.   He began coaching in 2014 and has loved every minute of it.  In 2015, he got his CrossFit Endurance certification which teaches endurance athletes the proper techniques and training methods to reduce injuries.  Nick believes in working hard, pushing yourself, setting goals, and having no excuses.  He believes a little, or sometimes a lot, of sweat will make the rest of your day much better.  Helping people push past their perceived limits and accomplish things they didn’t know were possible is what drives Nick as a coach.  He will be the voice in your head telling you, you can do it when you are saying that you can’t.  He believes that we are all much more powerful than we think we are.  Nick does not care how big or small your goal is; he knows you can reach it and is eager to help you do it!

Kelley.jpg

Kelley Lensing

Kelley been active her entire life; playing softball, taking dance, and cheering in high school.  In college, she took up running, completing 6 full marathons and countless half marathons.  She has been a member of the North Little Rock Athletic Club since 2000, taking numerous classes and boot camps throughout the years.  At first, Kelley was intimidated by CrossFit, as she had never done any Olympic lifting.  After watching from a distance, Charla Burkett talked her into trying out a class in October of 2014.  She instantly loved it!  Kelley loves the community, not having to think about what workout to do, and the enormous number of movements and skills that she had never done and would require lots of practice to master.

Kelley says that, “To me, Crossfit doesn't feel like a workout or something I MAKE myself do.  It's a hobby, an activity I look forward to daily, and something I genuinely enjoy practicing and making improvements on.  Oh, and it just so happens that it's also where all my best friends are.”  The CrossFit community is Kelley’s favorite part of the gym and she will tell you that you'll never meet a more positive, uplifting, and encouraging group of people that support you in and out of the box.  Kelley started coaching in August 2017 and absolutely cannot get enough of it.  There is no greater feeling to her than watching someone meet a goal they've been working hard to attain.  She loves that CrossFit is for everyone and how there is a means to show people they can achieve anything; even what they may have thought impossible.  Seeing someone accomplish a goal or lift a weight they didn't believe they could is very rewarding to her.  Kelley has three teenage kids: Blakely, Taylor, and Luke, all of whom she stays quite busy with, running to various sporting events and activities.

Steven.JPG

Steven Nauman

Steven was born and raised in North Little Rock.  As an overweight teenager, he preferred watching TV over playing sports, except for basketball.  His senior year, he tried out for a homeschool basketball team, but his extra weight prevented him from making the team.  He decided to lose weight and lost 50 pounds using the P90X program.  Discovering that he enjoyed exercise, Steven worked at a Boot Camp for a year and realized he wanted to become a personal trainer to help other people lose weight and become healthier.  In January of 2013, he discovered CrossFit and took a class.  By May, he was an employee teaching foundation classes, and over the next two years, worked as a personal trainer and CrossFit coach.  Steven prefers CrossFit training because it works every part of your body, instead of focusing on one aspect such as cardio or strength building.  His favorite exercise is wall-balls and he used that skill to raise money for his CrossFit Level 1 with a fund raiser.  He completed 807 wall balls in one hour!

Ashlie Heuter

Ashlie has always been involved in competitive sports, specifically volleyball and softball, from childhood through the collegiate level.  After college, Ashlie continued to be active through avid hiking, kayaking, and competitive mountain biking.  In early 2013, soon after the birth of her daughter, trying CrossFit just made sense, and a new sports obsession was born.  She found it fit right into her and her family’s active lifestyle, and she especially loves that anyone, regardless of age or fitness level, can enjoy CrossFit.  Ashlie obtained her CrossFit L-1 in August 2016, and USAW L-1 Sports Performance Coach designation in early 2017.  She enjoys the challenges of coaching and specifically introducing new athletes to CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting.  When not at the gym, Ashlie still enjoys recreational mountain biking, and spending time fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, and camping with her husband, Lt. Col. Marden Hueter, and their two children, Josie and Boone.
